Powering Virtual Learning

Help me give my students a computer to help me monitor my students' work and lighten the load on my current computer which is getting overloaded with all the teacher apps and programs that are used daily.

My Project

The virtual learning classroom is different than the physical classroom. It requires a lot more tech and screens to optimize efficiency and student engagement. This computer will allow me to provide my students with better attention, increase my efficiency as a teacher, and lighten the load on my current computer which is starting to lag from all of the virtual apps/programs that get used daily.

Having another laptop will make it easier to see, review, and give feedback to student projects while simultaneously presenting my slides/instructions, monitoring the chat & GoGuardian, and doing the myriad of tasks that teachers naturally do.

For anyone who has ever worked on multiple screens, you know how much extra screens can be a game changer on increasing productivity and efficiency while also lightening the load on your other computer. A second laptop also ensures that I can continue virtual instruction without disruption. It is a great back up if there is a problem with my main computer. Overall, having another laptop will enhance my ability to engage effectively with students in my virtual learning environment.
