My Project

Our population is very diverse. We have many nationalities, cultures, and abilities. My children come to school eager to learn and with a thirst for knowledge in spite of their socioeconomic hardships. Our parents do all they can to provide our children with the supplies necessary to succeed. We have an in-depth special education program, a gifted and talented program, and a dual-language program. My computer program includes students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

An elementary school classroom is like no other place in the world.

It is a home for little ones for six hours a day. Teachers not only provide education in math, reading, and other school subjects, but they also provide stability, love, acceptance, and support for amazing little people. Teachers educate the whole child. Personally, I strive to teach values, love, and acceptance in my room as well.

Each school year is unique. This year, as we return from spring break, we need snacks! Our students love a sweet treat during the day. Some have a 10 am lunch while others have a 12 pm lunch. The day is long! I want my students to feel motivated, loved, and brave enough to tackle the world. With new snacks my students will be content on our journey!
