Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach humanities to a passionate group of students who see school as a second home. They sometimes come to class missing essentials for learning such as their computer chargers, headphones, sticky notes, and other key school supplies that are necessary for their success and learning.

Your support will ensure that students have access to a healthy and supportive learning environment.

My goal is to ensure that students don't fall behind simply because they are missing essential items. Your donation will help in the following ways:

*Fighting Illness: Keeping the classroom clean with bleach wipes, paper towels, and hand sanitizer so students stay healthy and in class through flu and cold season.

*Providing Digital Supports and Study Materials: Provide headphones, computer chargers, and other school supplies to support students in accessing learning materials digital tools.

* Feeding Hungry Kids: Keep snacks on hand to feed students who arrive hungry and have trouble focusing as a result.

With your help, we can make sure forgotten tech items, sickness, and hunger don't stand in the way of student learning.
