This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are in desperate need of tablet chargers and headphones. We use our technology for learning, assessment and sometimes a little fun. What's not fun is having no charge on your tablet!

We only have two chargers for 27 children .

Most of my fellow first grade teachers are in the same boat. If a student comes to class without their tablet charged they rely on us to charge it for them. Some of our students forget, but some don't have chargers at home.

In addition to chargers many of our students don't have headphones. We don't have enough to go around. It's very difficult for everyone to hear what's going on without headphones. I know my wonderful students will really appreciate this donation of technology to our classroom!
