My Students

My school has the opportunity to introduce our students to a Spinning Team. We have cycling machines in several classrooms that will allow my teams to remain active and create healthy lifestyle choices. All while practicing social distancing. This team is important because it will provide them with resources, including educational packets on a healthy lifestyle, hygienic changes, and much more all while staying fit. This team will allow them to enjoy getting the workout routines that will be provided in the lesson plans, information and data off the screens connected to the machines, and learning new things about ourselves on an SEL aspect.

My Project

During this coronavirus pandemic, my team are/were going through a difficult time with housing situations, remote learning, getting materials to continue learning, and keeping a sense of comfort. Our families are struggling, they come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their small community.

We are able to created the spinning team that will allow the students to use spinning bikes.

We need extension cords that will allow the team to participate as a together. The extensions cords would provide electric power to help the bikes operate. Before or after our team will be able to warm up or down by jumping rope. All by keeping 3ft social distance.

This team rely on me to make their spinning team as comforting, safe, and inviting place. We want to continue to learning, become healthier mentally and physically, and thrive.
