Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are fun-loving, energetic, and eager to learn, second through fifth graders who attend a school in an urban community. We focus on celebrating our student's individuality and creativity through various Girl Scout activities that require the girls to work as a team during their time spent in the program. Ensuring that their basic needs are met will maximize their performance in every activity. I would like to offer the girls a healthy snack to fuel their tanks to keep engaging in these after-school Girl Scout activities. For their hard work I would like to reward them with a sweet treat. These snacks will also increase the girl's motivation and perseverance to work hard and engage in thoughtful activities to the best of their abilities. These snacks will surly motivate the girls to drive and engage after a long day of school work.
