My Project

I am building an Esports program at the small rural school where I teach to give my students access to an exciting, competitive, and educational opportunity. However, to make this a reality, my small but growing team needs essential equipment like the headsets and monitors I am requesting. These resources will give my students a great start to developing critical skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking—skills that extend beyond gaming into their academics and future careers in technology, coding, and digital media.

My goal is to create a sustainable, inclusive Esports program where students of all backgrounds, including those who may not participate in traditional sports, can thrive.

I want to provide them with a level playing field to compete with schools across the country, proving that talent isn’t limited by location. With the right equipment, my students will have the chance to engage in STEM learning, explore scholarship opportunities, and build confidence through competition.

What makes my students special? They are resilient, hardworking, and passionate. Coming from a small town, they don’t always have the same opportunities as students in larger districts, but they are eager to learn, compete, and grow.
