My Students

Walk into our classroom and you will see an engaged and determined, bright-eyed group of kindergarten students busy at work building dreams right in the middle of Crown Heights Brooklyn. In our inclusive kindergarten classroom, our students are learning that they are excellent and they can do and accomplish anything that they are brave and bold enough to imagine! You will find them learning how to be avid readers and writers, collaborating to solve problems, investigating a science experiment, or joyfully singing or chanting about never giving up! In short, they inspire me to make the commute from the Bronx to Brooklyn every.single.day. They will inspire you, too.

My Project

These devices will help our students as schools across the world continue to embed technology into learning whether it's because of remote learning or blended learning program models due to COVID-19 health pandemic or to continue the work preparing children as young as elementary school to use technology in their everyday lives as students. Access to learning application software, support co learning opportunities with peers who are learning remotely, build technology skills, overall dexterity, the new paper and pencil of the classroom and so much more!

These devices will enhance the work that we are doing with our students as we move into a blended model for the school year and continue to prepare them to be adult career seeking citizens in the 21st century.
