Power Up Learning and Children's Smiles Autistic Support 6-8

Help me give my students a loving and welcoming classroom atmosphere and class activities to help them learn and grow! This will be my first year doing AS 6-8 ! I went from para to teacher last year!

My Project

In the coming school year I will be working in an Autistic Support Classroom going from K-2 last year and transitioning to 6-8 for this coming school year. Last year I was a paraprofessional and took a chance on myself and decided to become a teacher. I made this choice in the midst of students I have known for two years who lost their second teacher in a year. I wanted to become a teacher to be there for my students and make a change ! I was able to make a change in many of my students learning this year and I hope to do that again this year with my middle schoolers.

I am asking for help to decorate my room in Super Mario, a theme that is familiar and comforting to many children.

I also have some learning activities to help the students learn not only reading and math but life skills activities such as managing finances and social skills. My students will be grateful and will love everything that is done for them. I thank everyone in advance for everything!
