Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students, a.k.a my school family, make the choice everyday to be present, wanting to learn, they make the choice to advocate for their education and above all they make the choice to trust me. This has inspired me to make a change that empowers my students.

EdTech tools have revolutionized the way our students are engaging with their education.

The use of technology will make education more equitable in my classroom. Our "Flipped/Modern Classroom" allows each student's learning experience to be differentiated and independently paced, which contributes to the socio-emotional growth for our students after the pandemic. With these laptops, students will have the resources to learn content directly on their own from videos and readings and apply these lessons to the real world. Students will also practice their soft skills like note-taking, researching, annotating, and working collaboratively with their peers while building strong technology skills to be successful in this era of tech.
