My Students

Hi my pre-k students are the sweetest most resilient children I have had in my classroom. This year they have had so many changes. They have dealt with blended learning coming to school on certain days remote on others . Then they school was closed for two weeks. We are opened and they were so excited to start school in person again. They have taken all these changes of schedules and new social distancing rules and have adapted to every change .

My Project

My students were blended , now they will come to school 5 days a week. Slowly we are headed back to normalcy . We often forget about the social emotional development of children. These materials will excite them about centers again. Even if we must social distance, these toys will help them play with purpose , build problem solving skills. Cognitive skills through pretend play , and language skills. The power of play enhances many skills in the development of pre k children. Help give the kids in my class who come from shelters the power of play.
