Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have demonstrated great strength this year with their performance on projects and participation in school improvement initiatives. To continue enhance student involvement with school programming and extended learning opportunities, I would like to provide students with an opportunity to express themselves artistically. I would like to provide them with a guitars.

We encourage student expression through the arts with personal goal setting and planning actions that support their goals.

With a music outlet, students can effectively find their voice and develop multiple intelligence.

My Project

Our school currently has no music program. Many students are dropped off 90 minutes to a hour before school. I would like to teach the students to play the Guitar and Bass Combo Amp as well as use the Surface Go tablet to record them and use electronic music software.

I believe the students will benefit from the arts and express themselves in a positive manner.

Music made a difference in my life.

Please help me create an environment where students will be able to learn a skill they can take with them for a lifetime as well as enhance their current academic scope.
