My Project
Our new ELA program has a Module that studies PourQuoi Tales, which are tales/legends of how things came to nature.
There is something special about a child looking at beautifully illustrated pages and reading a book!
PourQuoi stories are tales/legends from around the world that help create a love of diversity. Stories that tell how chipmunks got their stripes, how elephant got his long nose and why mosquitoes buzz in people's ears are entertaining and encourage children to read. What can be better than that?
Part of this new program is students writing their own PourQuoi tale! Having example of PourQuoi stories for my students to get inspired by is priceless!
