My Project

This year, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to combine English as a New Language (ENL) instruction with visual arts. In this unique approach, I teach essential language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—through the lens of artistic expression. Students begin by exploring renowned artworks, engaging in discussions, analysis, and reflective writing. They then delve into the lives and works of the artists to deepen their understanding and appreciation. Finally, they channel their creativity by creating original art inspired by these masters.

To enhance this experience, I strongly believe in the power of positive reinforcement to support students’ learning and growth.

As such, I am requesting keychains, mini plush toys, squishy toys, and pencil erasers. These small prizes to recognize and reward students who actively participate, follow directions, share valuable insights, and act as role models for their peers.

By fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, I aim to help students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential. Your support can bring this vision to life.
