Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to foster a positive classroom environment. We have been doing so much work around growth mindset and self-awareness. I want to create opportunities where the students can be rewarded for good choices and showing kindness.

The incentives will be used to reward students exhibiting a growth mind-set.

This allows students to have multiple ways of learning that is not solely based on academics.

I would also like to create an area where students can time-out when they are not feeling like their best selves and can self-regulate their emotions. The projector will allow me to show students media, since we do not have a Smart board.
