My Project

As state-mandated testing swiftly approaches, preparation at times can seem remedial, but with some of the students' favorite treats as incentives, I have found motivation dramatically improves.

This project can also serve a double purpose.

At my school, my administrative team has launched an initiative to have veteran teachers mentor some students who may be struggling in classes. The reasons can stem from absences, tardiness, lack of organization, or all of the above. The program's name is "Heroes against Zeros" (of course it refers to zeros/missing assignments in the grade book). This weekly meeting will be used as a check-in and accountability system to make sure students continue in the right direction. If I am lucky enough to receive this donation of treats, they will also be used to motivate students who are striving to improve their educational habits/procedures.
