My Project

My goal this year is to support independent thinking and learning in the classroom. Using poker chips to count points that each class accumulates for asking questions in the classroom will inspire a competitive spirit amongst classes and encourage students to rely on their own tools and each other as a resource, building their confidence and independence. Helpful posters will also increase their reliance on class materials instead of the teacher. The decorative items I have selected will contribute to a warm and welcoming classroom environment that students are excited to learn in.
