Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Earlier this year I introduced fidget toys into my classroom. Fidget toys have helped students to keep focus on their work and lessened electronic distractions. I would like to expand the offerings available. Some of the items I would like to get are a second shape shifting box, slugs, more bubblers, orbit balls, and gyro balls.

Students often reach for their computers or cell phones when assignments are completed early.

It's important that technology and class materials remain away during assessments to maintain test security. I would like to help them cut the cord by providing activities that will not distract students still working.
