My Students

Imagine walking into a second grade classroom of motivated and diverse little learners. Their minds are constantly moving and ready for the next new learning experience. My students are eager to learn and grow in their primary years. Their busy bodies need exploration throughout the classroom to engage in meaningful conversations about their new findings. My students are fascinated with the world of learning around them each day.

My Project

My students always love to hear and give praise to one another. The students in my class love to encourage each other throughout the day. The character trait figures will allow students to recognize each other with a special superhero character figure. Students will be able to recognize classmates that are honest, responsible, brave, cooperative and kind.

The materials in this project will support their development in their leadership skills, social-emotional and character development.

My students love to listen to biographies and read them independently. The literature chosen will help them to identify positive character traits in others outside of their classroom.
