My Project

My project is called, "Positive Impact" because these supplies will help my students by teaching to the whole child, mental health, positive reinforcement, communication and being organized. Art supplies such as a tie-dye kit, paints and brushes will help students to express themselves artistically to teach to the whole child. To fortify students mental health and positive reinforcement, I am going to use a positive reinforcements (fidget toys), and certificates to accompany "Choose Love" mental health lessons. For communication skills I am getting the microphones to help with their speech skills, especially with students learning at home from the pandemic, many have become very shy and quiet and need to work on their communication skills. . For teaching to the whole child and allowing the students a break and a chance to express themselves creatively I got a variation of STEM toys. For the organization, I am getting 2 carts to organize the stem toys and the positive reinforcement supplies so they are readily accessible and easy to see, and a variation of colorful decorations to create a more positive atmosphere.

With these supplies, I can improve the students mental health by creating a more positive environment that will stimulate their desire to learn and express themselves creatively.

These supplies will prepare students in multiple areas that will be important to succeed in the real world. Now more than every with the recent gun violence shootings, I want to create a positive environment and give students the strategies they need to deal with any stresses and mental health issues they may deal with now and in the future. Please help provide the supplies so I can create this positive learning environment.
