Help me give my students materials in which the students can be able to do more hands-on activities. I have requested some mini whiteboards and other interactive lesson workbooks which will also assist the students with hands-on activities.

My Students
Honestly, I noticed a great change in my students from before the devastating tragedy of the hurricane hit us, to afterward. Before the students were released early, 2 days before the hurricane hit us, they were very vibrant, hopeful, full of life and eager to get the school year started. On October 16, when the students returned after being unable to attend school for over a month, almost all of their vibrancy, hopefulness, and eagerness was unapparent. Seeing the grief and despair in their faces, added to the stress that I was already feeling in my own heart, really hit me hard, but I knew I had to quickly pull myself together and remain strong for my students. We discussed our feelings together during class. Some of them didn't feel comfortable or would become too emotional discussing how the hurricane affected them in class, so those students chose to write their feelings on paper. I also made it a priority to let my students know that I am here for them and together, we will rise! This too shall pass.
My Project
Professionally, I measure my success by the success of my students. Therefore, when my students are successful, so am I. These donated materials will definitely help my students grow as well as myself.
Through these resources, my students will be able to do more hands-on activities while in class.
I have found that many of my students are hands-on learners and respond much better when they can actively participate in class lessons. These resources will allow that to happen.
I have requested some mini whiteboards and other interactive lesson workbooks which will also assist the students with hands-on activities. I have also requested copier paper and ink for me to be able to make copies of workbook activities and create printouts for them to take home and study. We are also without a pencil sharpener in my classroom so I have requested a pencil sharpener also.
