My Project

The students in my classroom are bright, curious learners. Many of these students come from single-parent working homes or families where both parents work full time.

Supporting positive behavior choices in the classroom is an essential contributing factor for ensuring a happy, safe and engaging learning environment for all students.

I have been delighted to see them understand and demonstrate advanced social skills such as compassion, empathy, using forethought in their decision-making, and taking ownership of their own decisions and their own learning.

I truly enjoy watching them as they collaborate and learn from one another in partner work, small groups, and play. They are like sponges soaking up information and learning at a rapid rate.
