This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Middle School and Junior High students in grades 6-8 are working harder than ever to display their RAMS Values of Respect, Accountability, Motivation, and Service, due to our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. We have recently launched a school store, where students can spend the points they earn by their hard work and amazing behavior in class and in our school. Students are expressing that they are willing to engage in class because of this system. They are quick to help others, and they are making our school a safe and positive place to be.
Our school store is in need of an infusion of supplies and larger items that can really motivate meaningful, ongoing behavior change, and set students up for success in life.
Your support will provide exciting incentives such as Lego sets, sensory and fidget toys, high quality art supplies, and games like Jenga and cup stacking, that can support students in off-screen interactions and interests! Students also gain financial literacy as they save their points for items that may cost more in our store.
