My Project

Classroom token economies reinforce positive behavior, target specific behavior, target behavior change, and promote fair exchanges, which require addition, subtraction, counting money, and economics.

Items requested in this project will be utilized in our classroom token economy.

Creating a project of various items allows all students to find something they wish to purchase in the classroom store. Students can earn Flamingo dollars (classroom tokens) to display positive behaviors. All students receive a price list of available items and prices and can shop on selected days. I have been utilizing "Flamingo Bucks" for the last seven years, and students love the opportunity to earn money to shop with. As a teacher, I purchase many prizes, which can be very expensive. Hopefully, this project will inspire you to donate so we can stock the classroom store's shelves together.
