This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Journaling in yoga class provides students with a meaningful opportunity to reflect on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By incorporating journaling into yoga sessions, students can check in with themselves, express their feelings, and document their personal growth.

The requested materials, such as yoga journals and mindfulness prompts, will be used to guide students in this reflective process.

These tools will encourage students to articulate their emotions before and after each class, helping them identify patterns and develop a deeper understanding of their mind-body connection.

Journaling is not just an activity; it is a transformative tool for self-awareness. Students will use their journals to track how they feel before engaging in yoga, noting stress levels, energy, or emotions they are experiencing.
