Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One project my 6th grade students look forward to each year is creating papier-mache masks inspired by the Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls. This project involves many steps and even more supplies.

Traditionally, we have used acrylic paints for decorations but last year we were gifted a set of Posco Paint Markers which my students absolutely loved!

The Posco Paint Markers allowed my students to create more intricate designs and add many fine details.

We are asking for additional Posco Paint Markers for the 2023-2024 school year so that my students can utilize them not only for their Day of the Dead Masks, but also later in the year for their Giant Food Sculptures.
