Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In film class we love watching student created films, and celebrating the hard work of our class. We do this by hosting watch parties in class and out of class.

In previous years we've borrowed items to celebrate, but we'd like to own these items.

Inflatable screens allow for outdoor movie watching, where students can bring their families to watch their films. Providing popcorn for viewing enhances the experience and serves as a special treat throughout the year.

For every project, students vote and nominate the best of show. Students who earn best of show get their pictures taken and put on a large display board known as HOLLYWOODROW. I love having photos of my students up in my classroom, it creates a fun competitive environment that encourages students to do their best!

Thank you for helping to create a welcoming and fun classroom for my students, I truly couldn't do it without you.
