This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for considering donating to my classroom! The books requested have been popular books over the years. I have been teaching 7th grade ELA for 12 years and these popular books have gone "missing" over the years. When one book in a series is missing, it can be frustrating to students who want to read them! The magic of books is so important to maintain in a classroom throughout the year and keeping them motivated with quality, high interest, engaging books helps keep that magic.

What makes my students special?

All students are special and children all around the world deserve books. My students come from all over and we are a Title I school in Queens. With varying academic levels, life experiences, economic levels, interest levels, and backgrounds having a variety of books is a must!
