Help me give my students some fun because we are doing a principal picks reading challenge and for students that complete the challenge they will get to eat popcorn and enjoy a read aloud with their principal!

My Project

This year I am implementing a Principal Picks project to increase our reading scores. I will select some of my favorite books and if students read so many books they get to spend time with me doing culture building activities!

We want to improve our reading scores to have 90% of our reading scores at or above proficiency and want to build in fun, community building activities to encourage the love of reading!

Students will reach different levels of books read and if they read 10 books, students will get to participate in a popcorn party on the third Thursday of each month, so I am requesting a popcorn machine and popcorn making supplies!

We want our students to be good readers but we want our students have fun and engage in literature conversations. This project will help encourage these kind of activities.
