Popcorn and Cotton Candy Teaches Entrepreneurial Skills

My Project

I am requesting a popcorn maker, a cotton candy maker and all of the supplies needed to make popcorn and cotton candy as Students Create Unique Popcorn Stands to Make and Sell.

Students will be required to plan, design, create, and advertise a popcorn and cotton candy stand to use during school performances.

Students will then have to complete a cost analysis for their products and calculate the calories in their popcorn as well as other nutritional facts since students must make a food label for their recipe.

The students will have to figure out how much they will sell their popcorn and cotton candy for and then discuss about how much money they would need for start up costs. Students will also learn various facts about popcorn and cotton candy as well as how to safely prepare their recipes in the cooking lab.
