My Project

Using your imagination and reenacting familiar stories or making up your own is one of the great joys of being a kid. When kids use their imaginations, the Big Bad Wolf and Three Little Pigs can have a tea party together. Or the 5 Little Monkeys can jump on the couch instead of the bed. The possibilities are endless.

These pop-up puppet stands and puppets will allow for students to retell familiar stories we read during our units of studies, as well as use their imagination to change the endings.

The puppet stands will be used in the library to allow for two students to tell a story while having 2 audience members. The Pete the Cat puppet will be used during our clothing theme where we read Pete the Cat and His 4 Groovy Buttons. The Three Little Pigs will be used during our building theme. And the 5 little monkeys will be used throughout the year as a familiar finger play.
