This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For my littlest special preschoolers, pop up peekaboo books stimulates cognitive development, encourages social interactions, promotes emotional awareness through surprises and delight, enhances visual tracking and support language skills through repetitive phrases.

Reading aloud to my littlest special preschoolers is one of the best ways to grow their listening and language skills.

But sometimes, it’s hard for curious and active little ones to sit still for story time. Therefore an interactive approach to reading time can be hugely helpful to keep the attention of a busy little one! The pictures hidden behind flaps create an element of surprise that is highly interesting to young children. Pop up books books are a great way to keep a young child's attention while reading.
