My Students
Boundless energy. Creatively spirited. Diverse learners. Amazing. High percentage of English Language Learners. Wonderful little humans. That's who my students are!
My K-3 students are the most creative group of students I have had the pleasure to teach in my 14 year career.
My Project
My students experience a wide variety of music in my classroom. Students are asked to sing, say, dance, and play to create music and make music their own. They are active music makers from the moment they enter to the moment they exit the room.
Great musicians not only make music, but they listen to and are exposed to a great variety of songs. Through the use of these unique picture books, students can see vivid images while listening to and being exposed to a great variety of musical genres.
These books whose lyrics create the story, are songs that should live on. The best way to do that is to make it part of my student's experience in our music room.
