Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Even though my students come from many different backgrounds and face challenges they have one thing in common, they love learning. Coming to school for most of them is the constant in their life. The smiles that appear on their faces when they enter the classroom are contagious. Many of these students face unthinkable challenges, but still manage to come to school ready to learn and succeed. As a teacher it is my job to make sure I am able to meet all their needs. The students love fidgets and pop-its, so let's imbed them in learning to help student engagement!

My Project

Many of my students struggle to stay focused and engaged during class. Imagine placing an educational fidget in their hands. They will be engaged and focused while learning their multiplication facts, their numbers, or even using them to solve math problems. Students will be able to find vowels and constants and spell sight words during guided reading stations.

Pop-its help students deal with anxiety, stress, ADHD, and Autism.

Let's give students tools that can be used both as stress relief and as an educational tool. They can develop brainpower and help students grow their love of learning.
