Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher serving a low income area, there are specific challenges that my students face both in and out of the classroom. These eager and excited young students come to school everyday ready to learn and happy to explore. Unfortunately, situations beyond their control threaten their success on a daily basis.

Many of my students have a difficult time securing the basic supplies they'll need for daily use.

For this reason, my projects on DonorsChoose are of vital importance to my students. I believe that it is my duty to provide these exceptional young thinkers the best opportunities that I possibly can. My diverse group of dedicated and inquisitive students will get the chance they deserve with the help of these resources.

My Project

Have you seen the popular new pop it toys the kids can't seem to get enough of? Kindergarten and first grade teachers at my school want to capitalize on the success of these sensory toys to help children learn their letters.

After a year of online, our kids need interactive learning more than ever!

We want to provide fun and interesting ways for our students to learn the alphabet so they are motivated to learn. Help us to make school fun for our students who are so excited to be back in person.
