Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love exploring the world by touching and creating colorful things. Some of them have trouble with small movements or get overwhelmed by certain feelings. That's why I'm so excited about these bright and touchable materials like pom-poms, buttons, and special paints.

Touching different textures and using lots of colors will help my students move their fingers better, explore with their senses, and be more creative.

These fun items will help every child in my class learn by using their hands in a way that works for them. I want to help my students show their ideas while learning important skills for school and life. With things like the big chalk bucket, 3-D collage box, and foam paints, they can make their ideas come to life. Every time they stick on a pom-pom or glue down a button, they'll be learning and feeling good about what they can do. These wonderful kids will grow so much by playing and creating with these new art supplies.
