Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 4th grade in a high poverty area. My scholars come from very different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences and it makes an enjoyable classroom setting. My greatest challenge is to motivate and excite them about learning and making real life connections to concepts.

My classroom is filled with young and bright minds that have a gift to achieve their learning goals.

They love to create hands on projects integrating technology and, with this donation, would like to, not only create those projects through photography and videography, but display them to their fellow peers in school as well as the neighborhood.

My Project

This photo printer will help my students complete the process of their masterpiece. Printing their projects and enhance their artistic eye through a learning experience. Using photography to document their projects can teach perspective, point of view as well as editing and enhancing their projects. When a picture is taken, you can see things from another perspective and point of view.

This donation will give my students the opportunity to experience photography integrated in their curriculum.

This is an opportunity that many may never be able to have at home. A picture is worth a thousand words. I'd love for my students to experience that!
