Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious and eager to learn new things, and they love moving around. My school is a Title I school. Many of our families qualify for free or reduced-rate lunches.

Our school promotes a positive learning environment for all students especially during the current pandemic.

I am the Title I Facilitator for BES and we have kiddos who need more social and emotional support than ever before as well as devices to support our ESL students.

I want to make the most of teaching and learning for our English Language Learners and to do so, I need a few additional items for our school. This will be for classroom engagement. I plan to use it to incorporate images that support our learning and understanding of content.

My Project

These pocket talk devices will help out nonEnglish speaking students to communicate effectively with their peers and teachers. These kiddos need to be able to share their thoughts, ideas and feelings inside their classroom and school. These devices will allow these kiddos the opportunities to be apart of the school community.

As these babies learn English and the American education system, these devices will help them bridge the gaps between their own language/culture and English/American language and culture.

You can help these babies become multilingual and be successful in our school.
