Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are remarkable individuals who face daily challenges with strength and determination. Many of them come from historically underfunded communities, and they deserve resources that help them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Weighted plushies will provide a comforting presence, helping my students stay calm and focused during stressful moments, whether they're taking a test, collaborating on a project, or engaging in quiet reading time.

To ensure these plushies are well-maintained and easily accessible, we are also requesting storage bins for their proper organization and upkeep.

Additionally, we aim to empower our students with resources that teach them effective strategies for reducing stress and boosting focus. Books and strategy cards will provide engaging, practical tools that students can use to manage their emotions and build confidence in their learning journey.

Our goal is to create classrooms where every student feels supported, secure, and ready to learn. These resources will make a meaningful difference in their academic success and emotional well-being. Your support can help us bring peace, calm, and productivity to our students' lives.
