This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Have you ever entered a completely still kindergarten classroom? I never have! Kindergarteners learn like busy bees! With the help of these ball chairs and a new table, my students will be able to release some energy while sitting at their table!
My Kindergarten students attend a urban charter school which is very sparse with its supplies.
At the beginning of the year we are supplied with a hook for each child, four tables, and 25 student chairs. Just enough to have 25 students sit at their tables, yet nothing more. My students are eager to learn and I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible
My Project
My students love to learn, but many times are fighting the urge to get up and move around while they are supposed to be in one specific area. With the help of these 'bouncing chairs' my students will be able to not only get their work done, but release their energy at the same time!
Your donation would make it possible for my students to maintain their focus on their work rather than wanting to move around.
Your help will give each one of my students the chance for a solid foundation! These items will bring excitement to their learning and will give my students the ability to concentrate on their academics that they so desperately need!
