Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Dear Potential Donor(s), This binding machine will create the learning materials that my transitional kindergartener (TK) need but are not currently provided. As a TK teacher, I am not provided with any math curriculum, and slim to nothing in the areas of social emotional learning (SEL) and English language arts (ELA). I also am not readily provided with any additional support materials for students with disabilities.

This binding machine will allow me to be able to create learning materials much easier and with more quality and efficiency than I have been able to.

I will be using the machine to make many materials for my students. For example, I will be making booklets that allow for hands on learning activities for my students, including movement of Velcro pieces, tracing, and more. I will also be creating visual schedules and reinforcement booklets for students that need these additional supports. Having a booklet with organized, moveable pieces will allow these support systems to move smoothly and consistently.
