My Project

Hello! My name is Ms. Hale. I was recently hired to teach 2nd grade students with autism. I want to be able to set up my classroom where the students will be able to get comfy on the rug or snuggle in a bean bag chair when they are experiencing sensory overload.

Students will autism sometimes find it difficult to express themselves verbally, so it is essential to provide them with various outlets to communicate.

I feel my students would also benefit from an art and crafts area. This will allow them to express their emotions through the arts. My students and I appreciate any help we receive. Thank you! Ms. Hale and the 2nd graders.
