Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school, our students are in dire need of books to supplement the curriculum, to build their reading skills and to further keep them engaged both in school and at home. My school is steam focused school and we require many contributions and fundraisers to purchase the required supplies to ensure that students are properly equipped to tackle their everyday educational needs.

I was always told that experiences drive our thinking and educational experiences.

Students at my school work on solutions to real-world problems impacting their neighborhoods. every year each grade publishes a novel focused on their chosen topic or grade theme.

My Project

Parents and teachers are worried about keeping children safe. This has been a year full of unknowns. We have seen many deaths and most people have fallen on hard times.

Students need to feel safe at school in order to learn.

Safety is a major priority and having the proper school supplies help to ease their minds.

Keeping a clean and safe classroom will help students to focus on their learning and not looking over their shoulders and worry about being safe.

These materials will help my students to feel safe and secure in the classroom.
