This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Albert Einstein once said, "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." This is exactly what I plan to do!

I work in a high-need school in Brooklyn, New York.

I have a class of 18 wonderful and creative Pre-K children who love to engage in art activities! They are very excited to participate in art but just need more materials to participate in art activities daily.

My Project

Our class needs various types of paint, paper, collage materials, storage materials, and display items so we can create and show off our beautiful art work! Having these materials will allow the children to explore their creativity through art on a daily basis. They will learn and use new vocabulary discussing their displayed art with each other. They will use art to explore their social-emotional needs. With these new materials, our curriculum will incorporate arts into all subject areas to make learning academics hands-on and fun!

By donating art supplies to my Pre-K students, you can help my students increase their joy, creativity, and knowledge!

They will be able to learn important concepts and express themselves through art. Thanks to you, the budding artists in my class can have all they need to begin their journey to being master artists. Please consider donating to this worthy cause!
