As you know, children who participate in school sports feel an instant sense of belonging, a stronger sense of school pride, are more likely to maintain good grades, and generally have a better attitude and positive self image. At MVMS, we have over 130 students who participate in sports. We are reaching out to businesses to help donate and sponsor our athletic program. The purchase of new volleyball equipment and materials will help ensure that our student athletes have the tools they need to work on their skills, feel confident, learn to be a good teammate, and give them the safety items they need in the event of an injury. This will enhance and allow us to utilize practice time with different skills stations. This will also be the first in time in a decade that we will have new equipment thanks to you and your support.
