My Students

Because of language barriers my students have difficulty getting interested in reading. My classroom is very low on a variety of books. Many of my students have re read the same books over and over again and are losing interest in reading because of this.

My classroom is located in Camden, NJ.

My school is very small so there are not many extra resources to go around. I am a first year teacher and am trying to build any resources I can to create the best classroom I can for this year and years to come.

My Project

My students would benefit from the books and book case because it will give them the opportunity to learn more and to display books for their peers to learn from as well. My students are very eager to learn and are sponges when it comes to reading! My fear is that they are getting bored of the small amount of books I have been able to provide and they will lose interest quickly rereading the same stories.

This donation could change my students lives because it will give them the same opportunities that students in other schools may have.

This will give my students the opportunity to learn more and to show off the stories that may be appealing for their students.
