Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in the process of creating a mindfulness room for our K-5 students. We would like to furnish the room with a soft rug for children to sit on as well as some bean bags and bungee chairs. We would also like to include inspirational wall decor and some plants in the space.

This project will make it possible for our students to have a place to quiet their mind throughout the day.

Please help us to create a calming space for our students. Students will be able to visit throughout the day to do some deep breathing, giving them the boost they need for the rest of the day!
