This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
A donation today is and investment for tomorrow! I am a Kindergarten teacher of 12 years I have seen a great decline in the science program and students interest in science. It is my hope to gain resources and materials to increase students interest in science.
Science is one subject inner city students don't excel in. Many students potential is often limited because of our lack of resources. If teachers had access to science materials that would spark an interest for learning and exploring our students would embrace the great discoveries of science.
We would love to have in our class, insect specimens for students to observe and explore. These resources will stimulate students imagination, in turn delivering productivity, interest and understanding of life science.
Your help will foster a love and interest for science. These experiences will mold the scientist of the future.
