My Project

I teach about 500 students each year in Pre-K through 5th grade. This year, we want to move toward having more robots available, so students can have a more personal experience when exploring code with robots either in peers or individually.

Not only are students playing with robots, but they are learning how to code and build their soft skills.

This has allowed us to shift from abstract learning on the computer to developing a concrete understanding of coding concepts as well as build communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity skills. Using physical robots allowed our classroom to have higher levels of engagement and better coding comprehension.
