Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn through play. During center time I like to have lots of options for students to choose from that go with our weekly theme so they have some independence in their learning. I make a lot of games and activities that I print and laminate: playdough mats, sorting and matching games, story sequencing cards. These get a lot of use so I need them to be on thick paper and strong laminating sheets. Little hands are not always gentle! Often, we do an activity with our read aloud where the students sequence the story or choose from 2 options to answer comprehension questions. Again, these get a lot of use as will these items.
